Welcome to my blog!
Here, you will get a chance to read about my honest journey as a wife and a first-time mama, as well as recipes, and DIY tutorials. Humor is incredibly important to me, and just as I strive to be transparent and honest in each post, I want my readers to leave my page happier than when they arrived.
I’m Morgan. I’m a wife, “boy mom,” artist, and middle school teacher with a slight flare for drama. I’m independent, crafty, adventurous, and completely content watching Full House or Friends reruns while I work on my latest projects (or procrastinate on a task I’m avoiding). I’m an extrovert, but I’m a homebody. I’m spontaneous, but I still love to make plans. I’m a night-owl, who gets her second wind right at bed-time (much to my morning-loving husband’s dismay). I love cooking, sewing, traveling, playing board games, and all things crafty. I’m passionate about social justice issues, and am not afraid to get myself in trouble if it means helping someone else.
I married the love of my life, Bryce, on a cold and rainy, but oh-so-romantic April 30, 2016 at the very church camp where we met 8 years before. Our love story is my favorite…not just because it’s ours…but because God made it happen in his own perfect time.
Over the years we’ve shared so many fun adventures, many of which involve costumes on stage entertaining children and talking in funny voices. We’re not afraid to embarrass ourselves, be nerds together, and laugh at ourselves.
Parenting is our newest adventure together. Most days are full of joy…but there are plenty of days that we are in pure survival mode.
I’m excited to share my life with you…my stories, my favorite things, my joy, and my adventures as a wife and new mom.
